In 2023, I was diagnosed with PCOS, and my relationship with food shifted. Reformulating our dough to be gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and made with simple, all-natural ingredients wasn’t just a business decision—it was a necessity for me. I didn’t create this because the world needed another cookie. I created it because I needed a cookie I could eat and feel good about, without sacrificing the joy.
Still, scaling a refrigerated product as a small business was tough. It didn’t align with the lifestyle I wanted or the flexibility I needed. And honestly? The answer was right in front of me the whole time.
So I went back to the drawing board and reimagined everything as a dry cookie mix—one that’s endlessly customizable, shelf-stable, and just as nostalgic.
