Loved the orange zest flavor throughout these cinnamon rolls. They paired well with coffee because they we're too sweet. I wish the icing had been more present, but I still enjoyed a less sweet dish.
I learned a few things about myself from my most recent order from Chocolate & the Chip. First, I have the patience of a paramecium. That is to say, I don't wait to eat cookies — I eat the dough. Second, the double-chocolate flavor is even more irresistible than the original. I may have a few flaws in my feedback-reward system, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep trying to perfect my style. After all, look at the time Lola & Co. took to get the recipe for vegan cookie dough just right. Right? Next time I'll try to savor it, but THIS TIME, I UNLEASHED END TIMES upon this two-pack of cookie dough.
I am not vegan and this cookie dough really blew my mind. The brown sugar cookie dough was a great base for me to add in any mixings I wanted -- crushed oreos are my go to! Made a nice cookies and cream cookie with this dough and it was delicious. Definitely recommend!
It’s hard to find cookie dough that’s pre-made, plant-based and delicious, and I absolutely LOVED this option! It arrived conveniently at our home in the date range promised, it has a sweet, slightly warm/cinnamon-y flavor, and they are not stingy on the chocolate chips. We planned to immediately bake it but I liked eating the dough raw!
If you bake into cookies, be sure not to make your dough balls too round, as they don’t flatten out as quickly as dairy/egg dough (in other words, make sure you’re creating slightly flatter balls to bake). Perfect for dipping in coffee or tea, but again, we will probably also eat it raw in the future it was so delicious!
We purchased this as part of a fundraiser for our favorite wild animal rebab team, and we will definitely be purchasing again. Thanks so much for the yummy treat!
